ALAIN BÉDARD, FCPA, FCA

Chairman of the Board, President and CEO

A graduate in Accounting and Finance from the Université de Sherbrooke, Mr. Bédard began his career at KPMG in 1975. He rose to become a senior auditor within three years while obtaining his C.A. and CMA. Subsequently he served as a Controller in the forest products sector before joining Saputo in 1984 where he progressed through the ranks to become its Vice-President Finance. In 1996 he assumed management of a regional trucking firm which eventually became TransForce.

From the outset, Mr. Bédard introduced a bold strategic plan of expansion, based on specific criteria including profitability, market penetration and geographic expansion. He has built a strong management team and has ensured the Company’s workforce is equipped with leading-edge technology to offer its customers tailored and innovative out-of-the box solutions.

Through a series of acquisitions and strategic investments across Canada and the U.S., Mr. Bédard has created a powerful, diversified trucking network. The Company’s activities cover five specific areas: Package and Courier, Less-Than-Truckload, Truckload, Waste Management and Other Services including logistics and rig moving. TransForce continually studies acquisition opportunities to further strengthen its network.

The creation of shareholder value is an on-going focus and is a key priority for Mr. Bédard.

Mr. Bédard’s community activities include participation in a range of humanitarian causes and support for foundations active in health and higher education. Mr. Bédard was awarded the title of Fellow by the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec in February 2011.

JOHANNE DEAN

Vice President, Marketing & Communications

Johanne Dean joined TransForce in 1987 and assumed management roles in several departments of the Company. In 1999 she was appointed Vice President, Sales for Kingsway Transport. Johanne has served as TransForce's VP Marketing & Communications since 2001.

SYLVAIN DESAULNIERS, CIRC

Vice President, Human Resources

Sylvain Desaulniers joined TransForce in 2000 as Director, Human Resources. In 2004, he was appointed Vice President Human Resources. He provides strategic leadership and coordinates all of the Company's human resources functions. Sylvain holds a B.A in Industrial Relations from the Université de Montréal.

LOUIS GAGNON

Vice President, Business Development

Louis Gagnon joined TransForce in 2009 as Vice President Business Development. He is responsible for several subsidiaries and oversees the Real Estate Department. Louis pursued his business studies at the Université de Sherbrooke, and through a range of professional programs in the U.S.

JOSIANE-M. LANGLOIS, LL.M.

Vice President, Legal Affairs & Corporate Secretary

Josiane Langlois joined TransForce as a Legal Advisor in 2001. Appointed Vice President Legal Affairs & Corporate Secretary in 2006, she oversees all corporate aspects of TransForce and its subsidiaries. Josiane holds a Master in Notarial Law (LL.M.) from the Université de Montréal.

CHANTAL MARTEL, LL.B.

Vice President, Insurance and Compliance

Chantal Martel joined TransForce in 2002 to serve as the Company's Attorney, Compliance. Her current responsibilities include overseeing insurance programs for TransForce and all its subsidiaries, as well as managing the Compliance function. She holds a Bachelor degree in Law from the Université de Montréal and is a member of the Quebec Bar.

MARTIN QUESNEL, CPA, CA

Vice President, Finances

Martin Quesnel joined TransForce in 1999 as a consultant. He then assumed management roles in several departments of the Company and was named Vice President Finance in 2009. His responsibilities encompass overseeing the Company's treasury function, corporate and equipment financing. Martin holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC Montréal) and is a Chartered Accountant.

ALAIN RAQUEPAS, CPA, CA; LL.B.

Chief Financial Officer

Alain Raquepas joined TransForce in mid-2014.  He started his career with Arthur Andersen and then spent 19 years at CAE. He was promoted to various operational finance and corporate finance positions culminating his career there as Vice-President, Finance and CFO.  As TransForce’s CFO, Alain is responsible for matters related to finance, controls and financial management. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from HEC Montreal and a law degree from the Université de Montreal.

MARGARET SMITH, CA

Vice President, Finance - Operations Support

Margaret Smith first joined TransForce in 2009 as the Vice President, Finance of one of its divisions, TForce Integrated Solutions.  She became part of the Corporate TransForce Team in 2011 overseeing financial and operational analysis of the Parcel & Courier Segment. She was promoted to Vice President, Finance - Operations Support in 2014. Her responsibilities include providing financial guidance and support to the Company’s various business operations. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and is a Chartered Accountant.

KEN TOURANGEAU, CPA, CA

Vice President, Administration

Ken Tourangeau joined TransForce in 2004 as Assistant Controller. He was promoted to Vice President, Administration in 2009. His responsibilities include financial reporting, internal controls and IT. Ken holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC Montréal), and is a Chartered Accountant.
