TransForce announces acquisition of Groupe Grégoire Inc.
Montreal, April 20, 2005 — TransForce Income Fund (TSX: TIF.UN), the leader in the Canadian
transportation and logistics industry, today announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire
Groupe Grégoire Inc. of Plessisville, Quebec.
Founded in 1987, Groupe Grégoire operates primarily in the transborder truckload segment of the
industry and also provides bulk hauling services to customers across Canada and the Unites States.
Its revenues in its last fiscal year exceeded $44 million. The company employs 300 people, 45
owner operators and owns 245 tractor trucks and 600 closed trailers, specializing in transborder
trucking between Canada and the U.S.

The acquisition is expected to be completed by May 5 th, 2005.
