TransForce Invites Unitholders to Annual Meeting

Montreal, April 13, 2005 — TransForce Income Fund (TSX : TIF.UN), the leader in the Canadian
transportation and logistics industry, today announced that its Annual Meeting of Unitholders will be
held in the TSX Gallery, 130 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 4:00
pm. Unitholders, members of the financial community and the media are invited to attend the meeting.

At the Annual Meeting, TransForce will review its progress for 2004 and will discuss its first quarter
2005 financial results. The first quarter results will be released via Canada Newswire and will be
available on the company website at after business hours on Tuesday,
April 19, 2005.

In 2004, TransForce increased revenues 49% to a record $1,120 million and improved EBITDA 57%
to $141.2 million. Cash flow from operating activities was up 64% to $125.4 million, leading to
three increases in monthly distributions, to $0.1025, in addition to paying Unitholders a special
one-time distribution of $0.055 per unit.
