TransForce Inc. Announces the Departure of its Chief Financial Officer

Montreal, August 24, 2009 – TransForce Inc. (TSX: TFI), the leader in the Canadian
transportation and logistics industry, announced today that Salvatore Vitale, its Chief Financial
Officer is leaving the Company.

Effective immediately, Alain Bédard, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of
TransForce, will be interim Chief Financial Officer of TransForce, in addition to his current positions.
